I love working on my obliques (side abdominal muscles) while at the gym. They make you feel tighter and sometimes even taller because they’re connected to your lower back. In addition to supporting your lower back they improve your posture and slim your waist. Obliques muscles are engaged when you flex, rotate or bend your spine. Obliques are connected to the lower ribs, the abdominal wall and the superior pelvic and hip bones. Obliques are important muscles in the central part of your body and it’s only right that they be an important part of your workout as well. #sarahnsays
